Mr. James holds a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering and is a registered professional engineer with over 20 years of experience. He has managed the design and construction of an assortment of projects in the oil and gas industry pertaining to water infrastructure and water recycling. He has permitted dozens of produced water recycling and freshwater impoundments in multiple States including New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma and Wyoming. Mr. James has also designed and permitted 50+ well pads and access roads. He has designed, permitted and managed construction of pipelines, pumping stations and road/creek crossings including locations within floodplains and wetlands. He has supported clients in infrastructure site selection avoiding sensitive areas while using HEC-RAS hydrologic analysis of watersheds to permit locations in floodplains when necessary. He has directed geotechnical investigations and designed impoundments, equipment pads and foundations and footings based on the results of the investigations. Mr. James has managed remediation projects for upstream, midstream and downstream clients as well as the mining industry, real estate investors and the U.S. EPA. He has designed and permitted solid waste projects for public corporations, local governments and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. As an expert in his field, Mr. James has composed expert reports for commercial litigation involving general contracting in construction disputes and made presentations and co-authored papers on liner systems and water infrastructure.
